Archival Society Calendar Collection - "Water Towers" First water tower constructed in Hanover Square (corner of Grand and Ferry St.) in 1904. In 1940 the water tower we view today as a landmark overlooking the Vermilion RIver still stands as a navagational aid to boaters.
